I just can't figure out how to best pair items I want to buy to take advantage of the code. I know it's best to have a $30 order but nothing I want adds up to exactly that. I would like to buy Emily (87), her accessories(20), Yank (18),Emily's pjs(20), Emily's snowsuit (26), Emily's tap costume (28), Molly's Christmas package (16), and Emily's holiday dress (24).
Could anyone give me an idea how to save the most money? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! Megan

Now you know what you want and the price. Divide the items up and start looking for little things like a hairbrush for $6.00. or one of the specials for $8.00. (maybe shoes or a book) I put Yank with the Hanukkah gifts because I needed it for Lindsey. There are also ribbons and socks for the historicals and if you don't mind calling there are necklaces and replacement hangers for less than $2.00.
I know it is a hassle but it saves and Customer Service hasn't complained ... yet.
Good Luck and happy shopping. ^j^ Mrs.C.

I think the best way to use the code is to have an order of $35 since you don't pay any extra shipping. Also there are a ton of cute little replacement items. AND there was a post where members came up ideas for great orders to take the best advantage. You might try searching for that. If I wasn't getting ready to head out I'd absolutely love doing the math to figure out how to best place your order (I love numbers!!!)
Good Luck,

One word: ribbons!
They are something you could really use, but would probably never get around to ordering. They can push you order up into the $30 - $35 range which will allow you use your $10 off code which will then put your order at $25 or less which will give you the less expensive shipping charge.
How about the Bitty layette? If it is still available, I think it was only $5. You might also want to check the sale items. Kit's Railway book is also $5 and the AG mini puzzles are $4.95. For $10 you could get Addy's Striped dress or Molly's Aviator outfit. Even if you don't want these items, they might be something you could put away for gifts. If you try your order with them, you will see that they are often free.
This is also a good time to order shoes or boots and if there is really nothing that you want in this price range, then just combine two outfits. You will still be saving $5 on each outfit which is not bad at all.

My daughter doesn't really need/want any of the small items like ribbons or extra shoes. She has taken great care of all her things and hasn't lost anything. I guess I will try combining items to equal around $30 to $35. Does that sound right? I was never good with numbers so this is taxing my already taxed brain!

Ok, I did the math for you! All your items that you want added together is:
$239.00
-$10.00 code
$229.00
+ 21.95 shipping
$250.95 Total!
Now adding items together to keep it under $35:
Emily and Accessories
$102.00-$10 = $92 + $10.95 shipping = $102.95
So basically paying .95 shipping!
Tap costume and 2 packs of trading cards
$28 + $3 = $31-$10= $21 + $4.95 shipping= $25.95
Snowsuit and puzzles on monthly sale page
$26 + $4.95 = $30.95 - $10 = $20.95 + $4.95 = $24.95 Total
Christmas dress and ribbons
$24 + $6 = $30 -$10 = $20 + $4.95 = $24.95 Total
Pajamas, saddleshoes, Kit railway book on monthly special:
$20 + $8 + $5 = $33 - $10= $23 + $4.95 = $27.95
Add all those totals up and your grand total is:
$207.75!!!!!!
You are saving $43.00 by making mini orders!
Even though you may not want the books, trading cards, ribbons, and saddleshoes......it is worth it in the end because you are saving A LOT!!!!
I hope this helps! I love doing this kind of thing.

I would add small things like ribbons, shoes, and trading cards to the orders. You have some great suggestions above. And if you don't want the smaller items, you can try to sell them to board members or on Ebay.

First, Carrie, that was awesome of you to do the math & price comparision! Very nice! Can I get you to help me out too when I'm having a brain freeze? You are so nice!
Second, Megan, have you thought about adding books to your order? I've made the most of the coupon by ordering shoes and other small stuff so far, but I was thinking that maybe choosing books either from a historical collection you don't have or one your DD hasn't read yet might be a good way to get the outfits you want and something else fun, other than shoes or replacement parts...
Just a thought since the books are $6.95 for the paperbacks.

Quick question--
If you are impatient like me and want to pay for 2 day shipping which i think is $15 extra- than its better to just place one big order, right??
